Casa De Cristal

Casa De Cristal is the house we dreamed of building many years ago and finally, we've been able to create it. 

You will be just 3 blocks from the beach.

There are two houses (15 steps away) on this magical property so you can have your own space, but also share great memories with your family/friends.

The rental includes both houses.

There is a saltwater pool and a beautiful garden area with three beautiful mango tree trunks full of life. All kinds of tropical animals come to visit here.

The accommodation

There are 2 houses connected through the garden. The garden is full of trees (yaca, banana, mango, papaya, papelillo, palm, etc.), so there are many birds / animals around.

Each house has 2 king-size bedrooms so you have a total of 4 king-size bedrooms. Both houses have gas stoves / kitchenettes.

We have added kitchen/hand towels, coffee maker, blender, French press, an electric water heater and basic pots and pans.

The house is equipped with soap / shampoo / conditioner / towels for the beach / bathrooms.

The pool cleaner comes once a week and the pool does not have a heating system. If you are booking in the colder months, keep that in mind.

The house is inside a “mini jungle”, so there are many animals around. Keep that in mind when you book.

There is a lot of “life” around and we do not use pesticides. If you are looking for a vacation inn-type experience, this is not your house. It is very integrated with nature. You will be visited by many birds / iguanas / ants / etc.

We leave the leaves in the garden to fall and compost directly to leave the environment as it was intended.

Since there is a lot of development in Lo de Marcos, we try to preserve some space for wildlife, we believe our garden is a sanctuary.
